Law students wait for hall tickets a day before exam

It seems the Bangalore University is playing with the career of its own students.

BENGALURU: It seems the Bangalore University is playing with the career of its own students. Though the examinations for law courses were scheduled to begin from Monday, a majority of students have not received their admission tickets.

According to students, even the time table was released just eight days prior to the exams. “The authorities are literally playing with our academic career. How can they release the timetable a few days before the exams and have not issued admission tickets even three-four days before the exams?” asked a student.
“We do not know when they will issue hall tickets as Sunday is a holiday and we have to appear for the exams on Monday,” another student said.

“They have not even adopted online system where we could generate admission tickets on our own once it is uploaded,” said a student. BU’s registrar for evaluation was unavailable for comment. However, another official from the examination section said the admission tickets have reached the college and they would be issued to students by Saturday evening. If not the college will be kept open on Sunday to provide them to the students.
