BENGALURU: An unidentified youth kissed a 21-year-old woman and ran away while she was waiting for a bus in Jeevan Bima Nagar on Saturday night.

The police said that the complainant, a native of Northeast, works in a private software firm in the city and lives in Koramangala. On Saturday evening, she was returning home from MG Road with a group of friends in a cab. Her friends dropped her at a bus stop.

While she was waiting there along with another friend, a youth walked up to her and kissed her. They chased him but he managed to escape. “There were no CCTV cameras in the area. Efforts are on to ascertain the identity of the suspect and we are gathering information from locals,” a police officer said.
