BENGALURU:  Faculty members of pre-university colleges in the state have threatened of boycotting the evaluation work of supplementary exams if the department fails to  clear their dues. Members of the Karnataka State Pre-University College Lectures Association said that they will apprise the officials of the department of pre- university education about the same and if they fail to respond, then they will announce boycotting of evaluation work.

"Lecturers who took part in the evaluation process of PU exams that were conducted in March have not yet been paid their dues for evaluation duty," said association president Thimmaiah Purle.
As per the data, about 15,000 took part in the evaluation. Out of this, only 2,000 have been paid the remuneration. Purle claimed that the PU department had forged the numbers of lecturers whose dues were cleared on paper. "Most of us have not received the remuneration amount."
