BENGALURU: To lodge corruption related complaints in the Railways, the South Western Railway has developed an Andropid based app, ‘Vigil-South Western Railway’.
An official release said this app of can be downloaded from Google play store. Evidence in support of one’s complaint like photographs, documents and videos can be uploaded on it. The confidentiality of complainant can be maintained if required and there is an option provided for it.
Anyone who reports a complaint will be provided a unique registration number. It can be tracked by the complainant. The app which is of 3.37 MB is easy to install and is user-friendly, the release said. It also called upon public to share positive aspects noticed among railway employees.
