Actor pulls off 11 shades in 26 mins

BENGALURU: If you are still going gaga over Tamil-actor-turned politician Kamal Hassan’s one-man show in Dashavataram, brace yours elves, for a ci ty-based film enthusiast Aditya Bharadwaj.
He is all set to release his latest film, in which he gets into the shoes of 11 characters in just 26 minutes.
Titled Auto Bhaskara, the film chronicles a typical day in an auto driver’s life and the kind of people he deals with in a day from morning till evening.

Apart from playing 11 roles, Aditya has scripted and directed the film. The film is currently in the post-production stage and Aditya is planning to launch a Traizer – a first-of- its-kind – blend of a teaser and a trailer, on August 1 to catch the attention o f the public.

Aditya says, “After writing the script, I gave myself 16 hours a day, for three months, to get into every character; to get the acting grammar right and to keep every character as real and as unique as possible. Be it dialogue delivery or the walking style or mannerism, every single character is different and there has been absolutely no compromise. The four-month practice has been executed excellently on screen.”
Though the film is just 26 minutes, Aditya has invested lakhs in the film’s making. Also, this has been possible with a team of just five members. He has acted, directed and produced the film. Other crew members include Sharath (director of photography), Vijaya Kumar (editing and VFX), Mohan and Raghavendra (makeup), Bharath Sa Jagannath, Dayananda Sagar and Chirag.

Of the 11 characters, the team has released posters of seven different characters played by Aditya.
“There is a main character, auto driver,  his girlfriend, a senior citizen, a blind artist who is a hardcore Rajkumar fan, a lover boy, a 55-year-old woman and Bhaskar’s father.  As an actor, this film has given me
utmost satisfaction,” Aditya says.

Keeping the mass audience in mind, the team is planning to release the title track of the film called Naavu Autodavaru, which Aditya claims will definitely go viral on the Inernet.

“Jhankar Music and Mars Films have agreed to release the film on their YouTube channel. Release dates will be finalised soon. Akin to Netflix Originals, the film comes with Aditya Bharadwaj’s original tag. I saw the final cuts recently, and as an actor I feel that the film has turned out just the way I had visualised it,” Aditya signs off.

24-year-old Aditya already has two feature films – 6 ne maili and Aadi Purana – to his credit.
With Auto Bhaskara, he hopes that the industry will take note of his talent and open its doors for him.
