BENGALURU: A performing arts festival Rasoham is being hosted by Vibhavana Foundation to support the cause of an ailing artiste. A cash honorarium will be presented to Kottakkal Subhash, a young (percussion instrument artist) who is urgently in need of financial aid for a kidney transplant.
Subhash was trained at the dance group of PSV Kottakkal and was working as a teacher of the percussion instrument. But due to kidney  failure, he had to quit teaching and performing. The 37-year-old artiste is married and has two children.

The Vibhavana Foundation believes that performing arts can transform individuals and make them better human beings. They are trying not just to share the joy of performing arts but also create a platform to help a deserving artiste who is unable to practice, perform or teach due to his critical medical condition.
The organisation is raising funds for the artiste on ketto.org. The goal is to raise `2 lakh in 13 days. So far, more than a lakh has been raised. For donations above `1,500, complimentary passes are being provided for the event on July 29 at KEA Prabath Rangamandira, Kamalanagar.

Vaibhava Foundation is a public charitable trust for the preservation, promotion and propagation of Indian classical art forms and culture. The foundation also endeavors to enable students of economically weak sections of the society to train in traditional performing arts.
