Ambedkar Institute fetes its graduates

BENGALURU:“Our country has taken science and technology for granted and we are going to pay for it,” said Padmabhushan Dr P Balaram, while addressing graduates at Dr Ambedkar Institute of Technology.

Congratulating the 843 graduates, he asked them to be true to their degree as there is nothing else that has saved human history like science and technology.

As many as 16 students received gold medals at the institutional level and 17 at the departmental level. Dr P Balaram, awarded the laurels to Amrutha B V, Lalremsiami, Shaista R, Fathima Shireen, Ashwini A N, Vishaka R Shastri, Disha Nadig; and to Umashankar, Shiva Kumar, Kartik Krishnakanth, who are the first rank holders.

The outstanding student award winner Sameeha Saleem too has high regard for her faculty members. S Mariswamy, the Chairman of the Governing Body of the Institute, administered the oath to the graduates.
