BENGALURU: A truck driver was killed on the spot while two cleaners escaped with minor injuries after a speeding truck rammed into a parked truck on the flyover at Tin Factory near KR Puram . The incident took place on Friday. Fire and emergency personnel used a cutter to separate the vehicles.The deceased is Venkatesh D (3 7 ), a resident of Gauribidanur.
A senior police officer from KR Puram traffic said that the accident took place around 1.30am when Venkatesh was heading towards Channasandra. He did not notice the parked truck on the flyover and rammed into it. He was killed on the spot due to the force of the impact and his body was crushed. The driver of the parked truck fled.
