Traffic restrictions for International Yoga Day

In view of the 4th International Yoga Day organised by the Department of Health and Family Welfare at the Kanteerava Outdoor Stadium on Thursday morning, the traffic police have issued advisory.

BENGALURU: In view of the 4th International Yoga Day organised by the Department of Health and Family Welfare at the Kanteerava Outdoor Stadium on Thursday morning, the traffic police have issued advisory to ensure smooth flow of vehicles.

As Chief Minister, Deputy Chief Minister, other VVIPs, VIPs and a large number of students will be coming in buses, cars and two-wheelers to participate in the event organised from 6 am to 8.30 am, traffic congestion is expected around the stadium.

Parking banned

Kasturba Road (from Hudson Circle to Siddalingaiah Circle), Vittal Mallya Road, Mallya Hospital Road, RRMR Road

Parking options

Vehicles of VVIPs and VIPs: in and around Kanteerava Outdoor Stadium (entry from Kasturba Road); other cars and two wheelers: St Joseph’s Indian High School Ground (entry from gate 1 and 2 on Mallya Hospital Road); buses carrying students: Cubbon Road (from BRV Junction to CTO Circle), Central Street (from Anil Kumble Circle to BRV Junction) and MG Road (from Anil Kumble Circle to Cauvery Emporium Junction).
