BENGALURU:Two teenagers were killed after their bike rammed into a road median at Anant Nagar Cross on Ballari Road in R T Nagar traffic police limits on Tuesday night. The deceased are Suhas (19), a resident of Palace Guttahalli, and Gautam Raj (19), a resident of Kempapura. Gautam was a BCom student, while Suhas was a PU dropout.
Police said the accident occurred around 11.45 pm when Suhas was going towards Kempapura to drop Gautam after meeting other friends. Suhas, who was riding the bike, was allegedly overspeeding. He sustained serious head injuries and died on the spot. Gautam, who was rushed to a hospital, succumbed after a while. The RT Nagar police have registered a case in this connection.
Driver killed
Pratap (26), a driver with an e-commerce company, died after a lorry caryying cement toppled and crushed his car. The incident occurred at Nagawara around 12.30 am on Wednesday.Police said Pratap, a resident of Lottegollahalli, was driving home after dropping employees of the company.
