CHENNAI: The Rotary Club of Madras North awarded Sanjay Pinto the vocational excellence award for his excellent work in media, on Wednesday evening.

Sanjay, known for his excellent work in the media particularly in the NDTV talk out with famous personalities. He interviews people with pleasant talk and tries to pull out as much information as he can from them.

Sanjay has also been recognised for his work on highly honoured firemen and policemen who rendered their services to society.

R Nataraj IPS (Retd) said, “Sanjay is faster in getting news than the policemen themselves. The way he projects issues shows expertise. The way he presented the project ‘The lifestyle and service of Firemen to the society’, made Tamil Nadu  proud.”

Sanjay said, “This is the first award I am receiving for excellence. I dedicate this award to my twin children.” S P S Murrali, president, The Rotary Club of Madras North, I S K Nasar, Secretary, The Rotary Club of Madras North and other rotarians were present at the meet.

Aruna Krishnan, Editor, Rich Magazine, K Srinivasan, Harishankaran Mani,  former president of Rotary Club also Sanjay Pinto’s family were present during the award ceremony.
