Understanding of god

My understanding of God is complicated. While the scientific part of me questions the existence of God, I understand, science has its limitations and not everything can be comprehended through science. Hence, there exists a non-zero probability for God’s existence. However, I am pretty much sure, he wouldn’t expect people to worship him or be partial only to those who worship him. If he did, he is not God. On the other side, I suppose God is man made to bring about peace, hope and confidence. Hinduism is interesting, for it gives freedom to deny God. I find the Advaitha school of thought appealing.

Religious practices and spiritual experiences

Religious practices are limited to getting myself involved during festivities and other occasions, if it brings happiness to those around me.  My spiritual experiences include enjoying the rising and setting of the sun at the beach and gazing at the infinite sky.

Faith in miracles

I believe in miracles but I prefer to work for it than wait for it.

Favourite pilgrimage spots

Neighbourhood temple with a wonderful ambience where I can peacefully sit and resonate with self.

Take on meditation?

Meditation helps me calm myself and enables me to search for answers to questions that exist in self.
