Understanding of God

God is present within us. He is the fabric of consciousness that connects all things in the universe. We don’t exist in isolation; we all are inseparably connected by a force which binds us. To connect with god one needs to become still at all levels. The body needs to be balanced, the mind needs to be stable and the heart needs to be unwavering. The process is difficult to achieve. But once it is done, you become one with god.

Spiritual practices

I believe in yoga as it feeds positive energy. I am against negativity. There is a saying, “When you really want something to happen, the whole world conspires to help you achieve it.” I go by that.

Spiritual experiences

Being religious is different from being spiritual. I would say I am more inclined towards spirituality. To me, being religious is a way to find faith. I think religious practices motivate one to discover the spiritual motivations as each religion has its own principles. Festivals and celebrations create a sense of belonging to one as it teaches something good indirectly.

If you got a chance to play god, what would you change?

The universe runs through free will. I wouldn’t change anything because the universe runs in accordance with certain laws. Even god cannot change those.

Take on miracles

The truth is, miracles don’t happen often because we don’t let them happen. Every time I feel the love of my wife,  every time I see my child’s eyes, every time someone applauds my work , I know I’m experiencing a miracle.

Pilgrimage sites

I love visiting Kailash-Manasarovar. It is a place where one can let go of everything including oneself.
