Graduation day held in B S Abdur Rahman University

It was a proud day for both parents and students alike at the B S Abdur Rahman University as graduating students received their degree certificates.

Out of the 547 B Tech graduates, nine were rank holders while three faculty members also received their Ph.D degrees. 19 students were awarded a first class degree with distinction.  Prof J A K Tareen, vice-chancellor of B S Abdur Rahman University addressed the graduating students and congratulated them on their graduation. He hoped that the B Tech students would continue their association with the university.

Prof Asit Baran Mandal, director, Central Leather Research Institute, was the chief guest at the event. He urged the students to emulate the likes of Sir C V Raman, Srinivasa Ramanujan and Rabindranath Tagore among others and serve the community and the country like them.
