eWIT celebrates seventh anniversary

Empowering Women in IT (eWIT), a voluntary, not-for-profit women’s forum conceptualised by a group of IT professionals in India, celebrated its seventh anniversary here on Friday. Over 250 IT professionals, including men and women, and partner organisations of eWIT participated in the meet. Jennifer A McIntyre, Consulate General, US, was the chief guest. The highlight of the programme was a panel discussion on the theme ‘The Power of Networking’ by experienced professionals in IT/ITES sector. They also presented an in-depth analysis of the current scenario of women in IT.
