At the 92.7 BIG FM office on Kodambakkam High Road, RJ Girish is roaming around in a lungi searching for a tea glass, while RJ Ophelia is entering the studio in petrol bunk attendant uniform. Dressed like an auto driver, RJ Giri is discussing the auto fare between Kodamabakkam and Mylapore and RJ Miruthula is busy arranging flowers for a  bouquet. If you think all of them have changed their jobs, yes they have, but only for a day.

To make people aware of the life and struggles of labourers and recognise their contribution to society, BIG FM selected a few of them to host radio shows. Today, the programmes aired on BIG FM will not be hosted by the regular RJs, but by a tea master, a petrol bunk attendant, an auto driver and a florist. For instance, the ‘Big Imsai’ show, usually hosted by RJ Ophelia, popularly known as ‘Imsai Arasi’, will be co-hosted by a petrol bank attendant called Balamurugan. He will share detailsof his job, daily life and different kinds of people he meets. Another show will be hosted by an auto driver Rajini Kathir, who will discuss ‘a day in the life of an auto driver’. RJ Miruthula will join florist Savithri for her show.

The RJs too spent time with their co-presenters at their workplaces.
