In an attempt to cater to the demand for speedy repair of roads that are filled with potholes and produce durable ones in the city, AC Concrete on Monday introduced Ultra Thin White Topping (UTWT) 24, a rapid road repair solution. A live demo, which was conducted at a road site on Link Road in Nandanam, followed by a seminar for builders and customers of ACC showed the process of how UTWT can speed up the overlay and the road can be opened for traffic within 24 hours.
UTWT 24, which comprises of special mineral and chemical admixtures, is a higher version of UTWT, which is being used for fast repair and concretization of existing roads, laid with bitumen. “Every year crores of rupees are spent on road maintenance and filling potholes across cities in India. UTWT 24 is an integrated high performing novel solution from ACC Concrete for planned instant road repairs. A delivery of UTWT 24 is treated with utmost care and completed by experience personnel with special techniques and opening for traffic in 24 hours,” said Anil Banchhor, Chief Executive, Concrete Business.
The solution can also be put to multiple applications ranging from urban roads and highway repairs, road rehabilitation and repairs, air pavement repairs, bridge deck repairs to loading dock and port repairs. Apart from the Ultra Thin White Topping 24, ACC Concrete has also introduced other solutions like Speedcrete and Supercoat which have been implemented in Mumbai and Gujarat.
