Pink run for breast cancer awareness

‘Running for a Change’ a Chennai-based running initiative conducted Chennai Pink Run, a women’s running event, organised on behalf of the breast cancer awareness month (internationally called a Pink October).

‘Running for a Change’ a Chennai-based running initiative conducted Chennai Pink Run, a women’s running event, organised on behalf of the breast cancer awareness month (internationally called a Pink October). The event was held on October 13.

Speaking on the event, M Rajalingam, founder of Running for a Change said, “The idea was to promote the idea of women focusing on their health, whether that’s through running or walking. This edition of the Chennai Pink run witnessed close to 275 participants, running for the cause.”

The event was a part of the bi-annual series of Chennai Pink Run (March and October editions). The March edition happened in Anna University campus commemorating International Women’s Day on March 10, 2013.
