A group of parents on Thursday lodged a complaint against a private kindergarten school, alleging that the management had admitted their children by making false promises.

The parents alleged that the school management had promised that once their children got enrolled in the kindergarten school, they would be automatically admitted into another school run by them, where they could pursue studies up to Class XII. However, the management of the private kindergarten is yet to start the higher secondary school leaving the students in a limbo, as most city schools admit students only at the kindergarten level.

“They said four main schools are coming up in the city and my children will get admission once he completes kindergarten. However, not one school has been built,” claimed a parent.

The parents sought police action against the school management.
