“Very few books cling to our memories and create reverberating waves in our minds. K Rajaram’s biography is one such book,” said Governor K Rosaiah, releasing the revised biography of the former Speaker of Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly, K Rajaram, titled Oru Samanyanin Ninaivugal.

Speaking about the book, Rosaiah said that the late K Rajaram’s biography had carved a niche for itself.

It reflected his mosaic of memories from his associations with national and regional political leaders, the Governor said.

“He had a way of putting his views cleverly in a polite and intelligent way which bears proof of his rich acumen and political sagacity.”

He further added that Rajaram’s association with several of the country’s Prime Ministers as a special representative of Tamil Nadu in Parliament was instrumental in bringing many new projects to the State.

The Governor congratulated the members of Manitha Neyar Salem K Rajaram Charitable Trust, which brought out the revised version of the biography. Speaking about the book, Rosaiah added, “I am not well-versed in Tamil but when I went through the synopsis, I found out about Rajaram’s close association with Governors. I am sure his cogent and lucid narration would make for interesting reading,” he added.
