Bharath University bagged The National Education Excellence Award 2014 for its outstanding contribution to the field of higher education. The award was presented to university representatives by Padma Vibhushan Dr Karan Singh, Rajya Sabha MP, at New Delhi recently.

Receiving the award, Dr Sundeep Aanand, chancellor of Bharath University said, “This is a proud moment for us. We are happy to be recognised as the Best Multi Stream University by ASSOCHAM. This award truly belongs to the staff and students of the Bharath family who have worked tirelessly to help us reach this pinnacle of excellence.”

The award is instituted by ASSOCHAM India in association with National Skill Development Corporation, Association of Indian University, Planning Commission, Government of India, Yes Bank and Ministry of Higher Education & Research, Govt of India.
