Docs Remove 6.4 Kg Tumour

CHENNAI: A team of doctors at a private hospital removed a large malignant tumour from the abdomen of a 55 year old man from West Bengal who had been struggling with it for the past six months. The patient approached Lifeline Rigid Hospital after doctors in WB refused to do the surgery because of the risks involved. “The tumour was one foot long. We had to cut 12 cms to remove the tumour that was tangled with blood vessels. The tumour was 6.4 kg,” doctors said.
