Graduation Day

CHENNAI:Sri Muthukumaran institute of Technology held its 15th graduation day celebration on Sunday. Chief guest P G Raghuraman of Accenture awarded degree certificates to 411 graduates. Chairman and managing trustee of Sri Muthukumaran Educational Trust presided over the function. College principal D Padma Subramanian presented the annual report and achievements.

Raghuraman told the students that graduates should consider doing something relevant to business and society. Around 342 of SMIT students passed out with first class, 16 students with distinction and 12 of them secured university ranks. Nearly 87.52 per cent of them have been placed in leading companies. Chairperson Gomathi Radhakrishnan, managing directors Premalatha Kanikannan, Jayanthi Prabakaran, Naveen Rakesh, Gokul, and others were present at the event.
