CHENNAI: The 25th graduation day of Valliammal College For Women was held on the college premises recently. Around 1,000 graduates received their degree certificates, out of which 33 were top ten university rank holders and 280 students were rank holders both at UG and PG levels. They were honoured with medals and certificates.
Chief guest Padmasree awardee Dr Avvai Natarajan, former vice-chancellor, Tamil University, Thanjavur, distributed certificates to the young graduates and exhorted them to give their best to society. College principal TVS Padmaja welcomed the gathering.
