'Students Should be Alert in Order to Lead a Safe Life'

CHENNAI:Shri Krishnaswamy College for Women celebrated the Investiture Ceremony on recently. Usha Rani, Inspector of Police, K4 Police Station, Women’s Wing, was the chief guest of the event. She was accompanied by her team of police women Shanthi Devi, Uma, Vasanthi and Vincia.

She spoke on different aspects such as crime against women, teenage malady, negative impact of technology on teenagers, and tips to lead a disciplined life. She said that students had to be alert to lead a safe life. She gave advice to students as to how they should safeguard themselves. Cultural events like Silambattam and keyboard performance were organised. R Revathi, principal, lauded the police department for their commendable service in safeguarding and protecting the general public against criminals.  The chief guest distributed badges to the nominated students in-charge of various departments of the college.

KB Arun, director, Shri Krishnaswamy Educational Trust, and Sadasivam, principal, Shri Krishnaswamy School, Annanagar, were also present at the event.
