Prince of Arcot

CHENNAI: In his condolence message, the Prince of Arcot, Nawab Mohammed Abdul Ali, said that one of the towering personalities and elderly stalwart in the country, former President, Dr APJ Abdul Kalam, was well-respected and will be long remembered by many, who admired and regarded him for the great services he had rendered to the nation till his last breath.

“I had great admiration and respect for him. Kalam Sahib had always shown due regards and affection to the historic House of Arcot.” He was a simple living and high thinking personality, with a vision to strengthen the basic secular fabric of the nation.  It will be very difficult to fill the vacuum left by Kalam, the Prince said.
