L Rama Durai, 24, a resident of Theerthakarai Pattu near Red Hills, fell from the terrace of the Sakthi Towers building on Anna Salai in which his office Yalamanchili Software Exports is located, police sources said.
The security guards on the premises noticed the incident and took him to a nearby hospital. He was later referred to the Rajiv Gandhi Government General Hospital where he died on Sunday morning.

The reason for the alleged suicide was not clear yet, the Thousand Light police said. “He looked very dull for last few days. When I asked him why he was dull, he was not willing to discuss anything. Then suddenly yesterday he said he was going to office and left,” said L Rajesh, Rama Durai’s brother.

Rajesh was the only sibling for Durai and his father J Lingam is running a pettyshop near their house. Durai, a B.Sc graduate, had joined this company only about four months ago.
Police  said  the reason for what they suspect to be a suicide was to be probed. “He had tattooed a girl’s name in his hand. So we suspect it could be a love affair. But we have to make further enquiries to find out the reason for the death,” said a police officer.
