CHENNAI: World Tamil Chamber of Commerce (WTCC) in association with Pink Ads is organising an International Education Fair (IEF) on May 28-29 at Chennai Trade Centre with top educational institutes in the country and abroad. The aim of IEF is to make it possible for everyone to pursue affordable higher studies, according to a press release.

During this fair, scholarships worth `1 crore will be given to students. To be inaugurated by Governor K Rosaiah, the exhibition is being funded by public sector firms and top corporates. The scholarship can be availed by arts, commerce, engineering, marine and medical students.

WTCC chief Selvakumar launched the `1 crore scholarship at a curtain raiser to the education fair. Cornerstone managing director John Christopher said two years can be in India and the remaining two years in universities in Australia, thus saving time, besides earning money simultaneously.
