Japanese scholarship for higher studies

You can get the form and outline of scholarships from the Consulate General of Japan. You will have to write an exam and results will be out by February 2017. June 17 is the last date to apply

Japanese Scholarship

CHENNAI: MEXT (Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology, Government of Japan) offers scholarships to international students who wish to study in Japan at a specialised training college, a college of technology and a university (undergraduate level). The scholarships offered are for three years, four years and five years respectively. The candidates will be requested to appear for an examination at the premises of the Consulate-General of Japan in Chennai.  The date and time of the examination will be informed. The final selection will be made by the MEXT and its results will be forwarded to the selected candidates by February 2017. The prescribed application form and the outline of the scholarship can be obtained from the Consulate General of Japan on Cenotaph Road. It has to be submitted by June 17.
