CHENNAI: Amit Tandon, often dubbed the ‘Married Guy’ in the stand-up comedy circuit, and one of the most sought-after observational comics in India, is all set to bring to namma Chennai his latest act ‘Honestly Speaking’, a 75-minute comedy show drawing experiences from his own life. With more than 700 shows across three continents to his credit, Amit, who is also the founder of Grandmasters of Comedy, is ecstatic to perform in Chennai again.
“People in Chennai give you time to tell your story and are not impatiently looking out for the next punchline, which makes my job easier as a live performer,” he says.
