CHENNAI: A national daily's photojournalist was allegedly attacked by a Tamil cinema crew at the shooting of Tamil superstar Rajinikanth's Endiran sequel 2.0, near Ice House in Triplicane on Wednesday morning.
Raghunath, a senior chief photojournalist with a national English daily was attacked by a Endiran 2.0 movie crew, who stopped him from entering Car Street. "His house is situated in the same street, and he was heading for work when the incident was reported," said a police source.
After a verbal dual, the men allegedly manhandled him. Raghunath has filed a police complaint.
The police source also said that the Endiran 2.0 crew had not obtained permission to shoot during the day.
