Bengaluru woman found dead in Chennai's five-star hotel

CHENNAI : A 31-year-old woman from Bengaluru, who was staying in a star hotel in the city, was found dead in her room on Sunday night. Police said Sakthi Reddy came along with her husband Amarnath Reddy, 34, from Bengaluru to the city on October 20.

“The duo stayed in a star hotel in Nungambakkam and Sakthi had to attend her visa interview at the American Embassy. On Sunday night, she complained of breathlessness and a few minutes later, died in the room,” said a police officer. Amarnath took her to the hospital where she was declared brought dead. A case has been registered.
