Demo at Marina Beach on Road Safety

ISS SDB, in collaboration with the Tamilnadu Consumer Protection Organisation, celebrated the conclusion of the National Road Safety Week recently. Balloon campaigns, poster exhibitions and model accident sites were demonstrated on the Marina beach as part of the event.

Y Sethuraman, assistant general manager - health, safety and environment, ISS SDB Security, said,“The demonstration was meant to increase awareness among road users on the safety aspects of wearing helmets, seatbelts and conforming to traffic rules,” he said. The day-long campaign was held on the service road opposite Queen Mary’s College, and included a signature campaign and pamphlet distribution to road users, a mobile exhibition and a series of skits and mimes performed by students of DAV Public School, Velachery.

The campaign saw around 500 employees of ISS SDB, on the Marina. The company also organised a series of competitions, including painting, poster creation, drawing and theatrics, the winners of which were also present at the venue.
