‘Parotta’ Soori
Comedy actor ‘Parotta’ Soori lodged a complaint against unknown persons who are operating fake Twitter and Facebook accounts in his name. Soori, who has acted in comedian roles in various films, filed the complaint at the city police office on Friday.

Speaking to mediapersons later, the actor said he recently came to know about the misuse of his name in the social networking sites after inappropriate comments appeared in these accounts about actor Rajini Kanth. “A few reporters called me seeking explanation about these comments. Only then I became aware that such accounts using my name and photos are created in Twitter and Facebook. I am not literate enough to open these accounts. I believe operating such fake accounts in my name will cause damage to my career. The fake accounts have given me a lot of mental agony and I am forced to give answers to lot of people for comments posted on these accounts,” he said.

The fake accounts listed by him are Twitter account with handle @im_actor_soori and Facebook fan pages “parotta soori” and “soori new.”   He wanted the police to trace the persons operating these fake accounts and take action on them. He also wanted the police to block these accounts. The petition has been forwarded to cyber cell of the city police.
