Ex-AAP leaders Yogendra Yadav, Prashant Bhushan launch new political party

Yogendra Yadav and noted Supreme Court lawyer Prashant Bhushan launched a new political party ‘Swaraj India’.

NEW DELHI: In their second attempt to provide alternative politics to the country, political psephologist Yogendra Yadav and noted Supreme Court lawyer Prashant Bhushan launched a new political party ‘Swaraj India’ on Sunday.
After the expulsion from the the Aam Aadmi Party more than a year ago Yadav and Bhushan along with a few members of the party, founded the political organization named Swaraj Abhiyan. Yadav is the national President of the new party, while Bhushan has been given the charge to manage the organization. But not forgetting the past, the party has announced to fight the civic body polls to be held in Delhi next year. 
Targeting the AAP party Yadav said “It is difficult for us to convince people sometimes that we are talking about clean and alternative politics, as they have had a bad experience earlier. AAP is the patient of the disease that is dirty politics. In this context that we are bringing this party to you. Although alternative politics has been shamed and defamed by the AAP but still there is space for a fight for the truth”.
“Today there is a challenge to the Idea of India, both Congress and BJP are same, they do vote bank politics. Swaraj India is going to be the example of decentralized, transparent politics that youth of the country wants. We will be the first party which will come under the RTI act. I request all the volunteers of the party to gear up for the coming MCD elections” Yadav said further. 
Bhushan, hitting out at his friend turned foe, national convenor of AAP Arvind Kejriwal  for his "supremo style of working", Bhushan said "Our members will have the freedom to express their opinion contrary to the one shared by the party, which doesn't exist in other parties. Swaraj Abhiyan will continue to run its key programs”.
