Man arrested for gang rape of Uzbekistan national in Delhi, hunt on for other four accused

On 14th March, an Uzbekistan national lady reported that her ex-boyfriend came to her room situated in Masoodpur area in the intervening night of 9-10 March.

NEW DELHI: Delhi police has arrested a 32 year-old man for allegedly gang-raping a Uzbekistan national along with four other friends. According to the police, a case, on the basis of her complaint has been registered under sections 376D (Gangrape) and 323 (voluntarily causing hurt) of Indian Penal Code against the five men.

"On 14th March, an Uzbekistan national lady reported that her ex-boyfriend came to her room situated in Masoodpur area in the intervening night of 9-10 March. Main accused Anubhav Yadav along with his four friends entered forcefully into her room. She fell unconscious as the accused thrashed her badly. Anubhav was not happy as she was not responding to his calls," Delhi police said.

"She was half naked when she gained consciousness. She went to the Fortis hospital in the morning but left without medical advice," police added. Delhi police has arrested Anubhav Yadav and raiding places in Delhi NCR to arrest other accused.
