CISF nabs passenger carrying 10 live rounds at Delhi airport 

The Central Industrial Security Force on Monday morning caught a passenger who was carrying 10 live rounds of 0.32mm at Indira Gandhi International airport.

NEW DELHI: The Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) on Monday morning caught a passenger who was carrying 10 live rounds of 0.32mm at Indira Gandhi International (IGI) airport.

The passenger, Ishappa Hiramani, was off-loaded from the Indigo flight and taken into custody after the CSIF detected 10 live rounds inside his hand baggage, during the Pre-Embarkation Security Check (PESC) at Terminal-3 IGI Airport.

He has been handed over to Delhi Police for further legal action.

Hirmani, who was bound to travel to Bangalore, could not produce any valid document/license for the possessed weapons.
