Ahead of 2019 Lok Sabha polls, Andhra CM Chandrababu Naidu meets Arvind Kejriwal

NEW DELHI: The Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu who was in Delhi on Saturday met Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and other opposition leaders. Kejriwal after meeting stated that in order to save India, people across nation should join hands.

Naidu who was in the national capital rallying support for some anti-NDA coalition met with a few opposition leaders including BSP leader Mayawati, LJD Chief- Sharad Yadav, Aam Aadmi Party convener Kejriwal and National Conference chief and former Jammu and Kashmir Farooq Abdullah. Telugu Desam Party (TDP) chief Naidu was an NDA ally till March this year, when he pulled out of the BJP-led alliance to protest against the Centre's refusal to grant special category status to Andhra Pradesh.

The meeting was held at Andhra Bhawan with Kejriwal and Loktantrik Janata Dal leader Yadav with Naidu. -"Had a good meeting with Chandrababu Naidu ji. Sharad Yadav ji was also present for a while. Discussed national issues. Present BJP government is a threat to the nation and to the Constitution.

People across India will need to join hands to save India and the Constitution-" the Delhi chief minister tweeted.Naidu later on held a press meet at Constitution Club where he launched a scathing attack on the Narendra Modi led central government and spoke about the current CBI controversy."Rakesh Asthana was PM's intelligence chief for some time.
