Happy munching

If you’re a restaurant owner who wants to build a closer relationship with customers or just a die-hard foodie, then eMunching is the app for you. With entrepreneurs Vishay Rawar, Anand Vijaybishek, Abishek Laxminarayan at the helm, this app aims to bring customers and restaurants closer.

Something’s cooking

Co-founder Laxminarayan says that the app allows restaurateurs to do what they do best while leaving customers to deal with them through eMunching. “Restaurateurs are not technologists, they aim to create an inviting ambience and specialise in serving tasty food. eMunching allows them to focus on that while providing an easy platform to reward and recognise loyal customers,” he explains. The app, customised for each restaurant, features signature dishes, chef’s specials, customer reviews and videos from restaurants that have tied up with eMunching. Some of the restaurants already offering guests these services in the city are Toit, Herbs & Spice, Ebony and Bricklane Grill.

For sides

In addition to getting notifications for events and offers from participating restaurants, eMunching also allows foodies to make reservations or order food from neighbourhood joints. For the loyalists, you can also earn yourself a free beer or food. If nothing else, that at least, should keep foodies hooked to this app. “Our platform allows restaurants to build upon their value proposition and create brand loyalty rather than discount loyalty,” says Rawar.
