Prohibitory Orders in Hyderabad from Thursday

Hyderabad Police Commissioner Anurag Sharma on Tuesday issued prohibitory orders in view of the Babri masjid demolition anniversary.

Hyderabad Police Commissioner Anurag Sharma on Tuesday issued prohibitory orders in view of the Babri masjid demolition anniversary.

Any form of procession, dharna, rally or public meetings is not allowed and any individual/groups of individuals is prohibited from making any speech, gesture or displaying pictures, symbols, placards, flags etc., which is likely to create religious animosity or hatred between different communities or individuals or is likely to cause disturbance to the public peace and order in the limits of Hyderabad City, except those expressly permitted by Police, said a press release from the commissionerate on Tuesday.

The orders would be in force from 6 a.m. on December 5 to 6 a.m. on December 8.

Police officers and personnel on duty, military personnel on duty, home guards on duty, bonafide funeral processions and persons or groups duly exempted by competent authority are exempted from these orders.
