Panjagutta police arrested two youth--a Somalaian and a Sudanese--on Thursday for trying to push an IT professional off the Begumpet flyover.

The arresterd persons have been identified as Abdul Khadeer from Somalia and Mohammed Inayat from Sudan. The victim has been identified as Anoop, an employee in an IT firm in the city.

At around 9.30 p.m., Anoop was proceeding towards his house on his two-wheeler. As he reacehd the Greenlands flyover, the duo who were behind his bike, honked repeatedly. Irritated with the continuous honking, Anoop vented out his anger on the duo without getting off his bike.

Khadeer and Inayat chased Anoop and intercepted him on the Begumpet flyover. In the ensuing argument, the duo reportedly tried to push him off the flyover. A passing by motorist noticed the argument and rescued the victim. He also alerted the police who rushed to the spot and arrested the duo.
