A day after Telugu TV anchor-turned actress Udaya Bhanu lodged a complaint with the CCS police alleging that the producer and director of the film ‘Madhumati’ allegedly morphed her visuals for the film to gain popularity, the CCS police have retrieved the alleged morphed images of the actress and sent to forensic lab for examination.
The CCS police downloaded some morphed photographs of Udaya Bhanu from various film news related portals on Saturday.
Police also registered cases against some websites for uploading Udaya Bhanu’s morphed photos.
It was also reported that the police questioned the film news websites for uploading the morphed photographs.
However, they told the police that they uploaded original photos of Udaya Bhanu and these images were from the film ‘Madhumathi’.Controversy surrounded the film when Udaya Bhanu charged that the film supposed to be released on Friday contained some obscene content with her morphed images.
