Man held for trying to sell brown sugar

The Afzalgunj police on Friday arrested a 38-year-old man for trying to sell brown sugar illegally at the Mahatma Gandhi Bus Station (MGBS) here. They seized the narcotic substance weighing 40 grams from the accused.

Devathi Rama Mohan Rao, a resident of Kadapa town, was apprehended when police were conducting checks. Finding his movements suspicious, they detained him near Shanti Sagar Tea Stall and found the substance in his pockets.
