Mecca Mosque blasts accused brought to city

Another accused in the Mecca Masjid blasts case was brought to the city and produced before a magistrate on Sunday.

The accused No. 8, Rajendra Choudhary alias Samundar, was brought by the National Investigation Agency (NIA) on a prisoner transit (PT) warrant obtained from the Panchakula court in Haryana. Choudhary is an accused in the Samjautha Express blasts case which is also being investigated by the NIA.

The NIA produced Choudhary before the magistrate at his house and the magistrate asked the investigating agency to produce the accuse in the court on Monday.

Rajendra Choudhary is the sixth person to be arrested in the case. The NIA had already arrested Devener Gupta of Rajasthan, Lokesh Sharma, Swamy Aseemananda, Bharath Mohanlal Rateshwar alias Bharath Bhai and Tejaram in the case.
