Oklahoma varsity courses in AP

The state government’s Society for Knowledge Network and the University of Oklahoma entered into an agreement here on Monday for various educational courses, to be offered in the state. Information minister Ponnala Lakshmaiah and university president Burns Hargis signed the agreement papers.

Speaking to reporters later, Lakshmaiah said besides education, the university will train youth for employment. The university will also give training in business intelligence, decision support systems, data mining and analytics, the minister added. Ponnala recalled that he did his masters from Oklahoma University in 1969 and now signed an agreement with the same university.
