Two die as car rams road divider on ORR

The mishap occurred when they were going to Sanghi temple

Two persons including a woman died on the spot and another woman was hospitalised with serious injuries when a speeding car rammed a road divider on the Outer Ring Road (ORR) here on Monday. The accident took place under Hayatnagar police station limits.

The deceased were identified as Basawaraj, 44, a businessman and Namrata, 40, a house wife. The injured woman was Manju Devi, 45. All the victims are residents of Begum Bazar.

The accident occurred when they were travelling in a Tata Indigo vehicle from the city to Sanghi temple via Outer Ring Road. As the vehicle reached Peda-amberpet, the car rammed a road divider and overturned. Namrata and Basawaraj died on the spot while Manju Devi received serious injuries.
