Last year, we saw actor Purab Kohli and his gang of boys sharing adrenaline-fuelled activites in Life Mein Ek Baar. In the second series, premiering this month on Fox Traveller, the focus shifts to five beauties-Mexican actress Barbara Mori, Czech model-actress Yana Gupta, VJ Archana Vijaya, model Diandra Soares and Tamil actress Kirat Bhattal. We will see them paragliding, kayaking and shark diving against the scenic beauty of South Africa. Gupta, who was recently seen in reality show Bigg Boss 6’s finale, tells us more about her new travel show:
Free Hugs was one of my unforgettable moments in South Africa. I saw the video about this campaign two years ago (where people offer hugs to strangers in public places). I’ve wanted to do that. So I suggested it and Barbara (Mori) immediately joined me as she had seen the video and related to it.
I surprised Kirat by ordering a crocodile and an antelope dish in a restaurant as she wanted to try out exotic dishes. She liked the latter. For me, I loved the coffee, the Truth brand, for it’s the best.
I wanted to try out shark diving. Just as we got inside the cage, we were told that sharks were nearing. It is quite scary and exciting because even if you are inside the safe you need to be careful of where you stand.
I am big time into anything that flies. So I enjoyed the microlight flight. We also tried paragliding, rode a horse, learnt to dive and managed to pat a cheetah.
The person with whom I connected the most was Barbara. We have a spiritual outlook and a similar way of looking at things. We plan to meet during summer in Peru. In the past, I enjoyed watching Friends and Lost. I would rather read books, than watch television. Currently, I’m reading Men are from Mars, Women are from Venus.
Right now my upcoming book is top priority. All I can say is it is nonfiction and about personal development. It will be out next year. Life Mein Ek Baar 2 premieres on March 18, Fox Traveller at 10 pm
