New trains from Secunderabad to Yesvantpur, Tandur
Two new originations trains and two passing through South central Railway will be introduced soon. The new trains are the Secunderabad-Kurnool Town-Yesvantpur tri-weekly Express and the Tandur-Secunderabad MEMU Passenger.
The Hatia (Ranchi)-Yesvantpur weekly Express and the Mumbai-Karaikal weekly Express via Chennai and Nagapattinam will pass through SCR. Besides, the Kakinada-Mumbai weekly Express, announced in the new railway budget, will run via Guntur-Nadikudi-Nalgonda-Bibinagar.
INCREASE IN FREQUENCY: tHE Mangalore-Kacheguda express, announced in the latest railway budget, and the Karimnagar-Tirupati Express will now run twice a week instead of once a week. The Narsapur-Nagarsol Express will run daily as against three days a week earlier. The train will run via Guntur, Nadikudi, Nalgonda and Secunderabad for two days a week and on the existing route of Kazipet and Secunderabad on five days.
SPECIAL TRAINS: The SCR will run four special trains between Secunderabad and Jaipur. It will leave Secunderabad at 10 pm on March 18 and 25 (Mondays) and arrive at Jaipur at 06.15 am on Wednesdays. The Jaipur-Secunderabad special will leave Jaipur at 09.10 pm on March 16 and 23 (Saturdays) and arrive at Secunderabad at 07.30 am on Mondays.
There will also be 26 summer special trains between Hyderabad and Kolhapur. The Hyderabad-Kolhapur special will depart from Hyderabad at 10.25 am on Thursdays ie, April 4, 11, 18 and 25, May 2, 9, 16, 23 and 30 and June 6, 13, 20 and 26 and arrive at Kolhapur at 03.45 am on the next day.
The Kolhapur-Hyderabad special will depart from Kolhapur at 06.15 pm on Wednesdays ie, April 3, 10, 17 and 24, May 1, 8, 15, 22 and 29, June 5, 12, 19 and 27 and arrive in Kolhapur at 08.45 am the next day.
HALT RAIGIRI: SCR will provide one-minute temporary stoppage at Raigir station for the convenience of pilgrims attending “Brahmostavam of Sri Laxmi Narashima Swamy at Yadgirigutta from March 19 to 23 for three trains: Sec’bad-Guntur-Sec’bad Golconda, Sec’bad-Balharsha-Secunderabad Bhagyanagar and n Sec’bad-Sirpur Kagaznagar-Sec’bad Telangana Express.
