Sudanese held with bullet at Airport

A Sudanese was detained on Friday by immigration officials of the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport (RGIA) for being in possession of a 9 mm bullet. Later, he was handed over to the RGIA police.

Aman (31) , who was supposed to fly to Sudan via Doha by a Qatar Airways flight, was carrying the bullet in a bag.  He had come to the city on student visa a few years ago to pursue a computer course at Optech solutions in Karkhana. His visa was to expire within a month.

Aman told police that the bullet was gifted by his friend. A case was registered against Aman and he was produceed before the court which sent him to judicial remand.
