The Superintendent of Police, Warangal Rural, suspended four police constables attached to the Narsampet police station on Wednesday for allegedly harassing and misbehaving with a woman complainant.
Based on the complaint lodged by the victim, the SP conducted a departmental probe and found them guilty of allegedly harassing and misbehaving with a woman.
The constables used to visit the woman’s house in Narasampet in absence of her husband on the pretext of inquiry into her complaint and misbehaved with her, it is learnt. The woman approached senior officials for action, following which Warangal SP ordered an inquiry, police said.
